Dear Czars of Alabama,
Isn't this America? If this article isn't a joke, I'll gladly be the first one to return my season tickets. I'd rather sit in a bar with my cut off jean shorts and green tank top and spend the cost of a ticket drinking like 80% of college students like to drink. Can I drink in a bar anymore?

Clemson Fan Says Roll Tide!
It is about time someone had the guts to stand up and start to enforce fan actions. I REALLY appreciate your article on Alabama. I stopped going to my Clemson games on the road because of fan actions.I personnely have has security remove some very obnocious Clemson fans from our stadium. Alabame should present these rules for the NCAA to incorporate into policy!

I DO NOT KNOW WHERE THE KINES HAVE BEEN SITTING, BUT I AM AN AUBURN FAN AND (YES, I) WENT TO SEVERAL ALABAMA FOOTBALL GAMES BACK IN THE DAY AND LET ME TELL YOU THERE WAS AS MUCH DRINKING THEN AS NOW. IT IS NOT THAT THE DRINKING HAS CHANGED, IT IS THE DRINKERS THAT CHANGED. LOOK AROUND YOU, THE WHOLE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA HAS CHANGED DRASTICALLY SINCE BEAR BRYANT WAS COACH. PEOPLE JUST PLAIN OUT DO NOT CARE ANYMORE. PARENTS ARE NOT TEACHING THEIR CHILDREN LIKE OUR PARENTS DID – THE SCHOOL SYSTEM IS NOT ALLOWED TO TEACH LIKE OUR TEACHERS DID. EVERYBODY IS OUT FOR THEMSELVES. WHO WOULD HAVE EVER THOUGHT THAT THEY WOULD PAY COACHES AS MUCH AS THEY DO TO BRING $ INTO THE SCHOOLS, BUT THE PROFESSORS THAT TEACH OUR CHILDREN MAKE SO LITTLE.
MY MOTHER AND FATHER WENT TO A BALLGAME ONE TIME WITH AN AUNT AND UNCLE AND MY UNCLE GOT SO DRUNK MY MOTHER STATED THAT SHE WOULD NEVER GO TO ANOTHER ONE WITH HIM AGAIN. PEOPLE WERE SNEAKING ALCOHOL IN BACK THEN (AND BELIEVE ME IT WAS LOTS EASIER TO DO) AND DRINKING WAY MORE THAN ONE OR TWO. YES THERE WERE SOME THAT WERE OBNOXIOUS, BUT MOST WERE NOT. AND BEAR BRYANT WAS A VERY BIG DRINKER HIMSELF AND I KNOW THAT BECAUSE MY SISTER LIVED DOWN THE STREET FROM HIM.
YES, EVERYTHING IS CHANGING – FOR THE GOOD – I DO NO THINK SO. I CAN RELATE NOW TO WHAT MY MOTHER AND DADDY AND GRANDPARENTS USE TO SAY (EVEN WITH THE DEPRESSION) – “THOSE WERE THE GOOD OLE DAYS”.

I guess your material is somewhat humorous, so I applaud you on that note. You have also prompted every Auburn fan I know to e-mail these articles to me. So, it I have no idea whether or not you have riled up the Alabama nation, but you have succeeded in giving Auburn people a quick hard-on. They feed on this stuff.

Funny Stuff
This is funny stuff my man. Even being an LSU fan, I had to laugh at this one. Nice Saban article, its funny but reading that one alone would not have convinced me that it satire (except for the Southern Comfort part). He really does curse a lot. That was one of my favorite things about him when he coached here, his intensity. It’s going to be one hell of a rivalry for the next decade or so. Gotta love the SEC.

Discrimination Suits???
This has discrimination suits written all over it. What a joke! I remember the first time me and my wife went to Tuscaloosa for a football game my wife was confronted in the restroom by two women Alabama fans. Unprovoked they proceeded to pin her against the wall, knock her sunglasses on the floor which resulted in them breaking and then to top it off one of the womens husband was waiting outside and he actually pushed my wife and shouted obscenities at her.
The next thing I know she comes back livid , scared & in tears. All I can say that SOB man is lucky I couldn't find him. What kind of man would do that to a woman even if she is an opposing teams fan? These are the kind of things that project negative images and need to be addressed, not what clothes a fan (home or opposing) decides to wear at a football game.
